Kenya: Ugunja High School

Father Joseph Omondi is a Consolata priest in charge of Ugunja High School, near Kisumu, in the West of Kenya. He has been working as a missionary in Kenya for the past three years and has witnessed the incredible potential and resilience of his students. They are eager to grow, to learn, and to contribute to their community.

However, they face many challenges and obstacles that prevent them from achieving their full potential. The school lacks the basic facilities and resources that are essential for quality education. Fr. Joseph urgently needs to finish the construction work of a laboratory, a library, and a dining hall. These three projects will directly benefit 300 students, 16 teachers and 9 support staff. They will enable the students to access modern technology, to read books, and to acquire skills that will equip them for their future.

Father Joseph needs $25,000 to carry out these projects. Any donation towards the completion of these three projects will have a lasting impact on the lives of the Ugunja High School students and their families. It will help to break their cycle of poverty and to create a brighter future for them and their community.

Please, join us in this mission of promoting higher education and empowerment in Kenya.

It is holiday time, but some students prefer to de their homework at …school!
